Around Azeroth Beta Edition: Just when you thought it was safe to hit auto-run

Remember back in the days of Old School Gaming, before video games became significantly more forgiving of mistakes, when you used to run into random encounter bosses while driving/walking/flying around — and you’d get absolutely decimated by them? (And if you disagree that older video games were difficult, go beat Zelda II, Battletoads and Mega Man, then report back to me.) World of Warcraft used to have enemies like that, although the chances of randomly running into them were fairly small, since they tended to be gigantic and got killed pretty quickly.

Well, world bosses are coming back in Mists of Pandaria, so it makes me happy when beta testers like Christine run into horrible creatures like this while flying around. Alas, it’s only the Sha of Hatred, which is just a regular end-of-quest-line enemy and not a modern version of Deathgaze.
